Tell us about your pet, not just your route. Breed, age, weight, temperament, the thunderstorm thing, the vet's note from last year. We ask more questions than you expect, because the plan changes based on the answers.
You receive the recommended mode, the specific carrier or train, the crate size class, the full document list with dates, and a line-item price. Nothing hidden, nothing 'to be confirmed later'.
The single biggest predictor of a calm journey. The crate arrives early, the door comes off, meals move inside, and by travel day it isn't a box. It's their spot.

This is a morning cargo flight, which is the most involved version. A road or rail move follows the same shape with a shorter middle. Times are set against departure, because that is how the terminal's deadlines work.

The line people are least prepared for is T−6 hours. A compliant summer departure is often before dawn, and four hours of cargo acceptance sits in front of it, so a 6am flight means a handler at your door around midnight. We quote that pickup time in writing rather than mentioning it the day before.
The fear of the cargo hold is the single biggest reason families delay a move. It deserves a real answer, not reassurance. This is what your pet travels in.
Live animals travel in a pressurised, heated compartment on approved aircraft. We book only sectors where that is confirmed for the aircraft type flying that day.
Frozen overnight so it can't slosh out during loading, then thaws slowly into fresh water your pet can reach the whole way.
Airflow from every direction, with the required open area on the door face. Not a box with holes. A certified container.

And one thing that never happens
Sedatives depress breathing and impair temperature regulation at altitude, in exactly the animals who can least afford it. Most airlines refuse a visibly sedated pet. We manage anxiety with early crate familiarisation, correct sizing, familiar bedding and calm handling. If a pet still can't fly comfortably, we change the mode, not the medication.
A domestic pet relocation within India typically takes two to three weeks from first call to arrival. An international move takes two to seven months, because rabies titre testing and destination waiting periods cannot be compressed. Urgent moves are possible in 48 hours to a week, with fewer route options.
It helps but isn't required. Many families have already flown ahead. If you can't be there, we coordinate with whoever is (a relative, a neighbour, a house help) and you receive the same photo updates at every stage.
Very little. Keep your pet's routine normal, let them use the crate we send, and be available for the vet appointment. We handle the crate, the bookings, the certificates, the permits and both transfer legs.
Every booking has a written fallback decided before travel day: an alternate flight, an alternate date, or boarding with a vetted partner. Your pet stays with our handler, not in a holding area, and you are told immediately with photos.
