Seven years before we had a name. Now we have one.
Aigan started the way most good things in this industry do. One person who kept getting asked, “can you help me move my dog?”, and kept saying yes.
The short answer
Aigan is a pan-India pet relocation company founded on seven years of hands-on experience and more than 4,000 completed relocations. We move dogs, cats and companion animals door-to-door across 120+ Indian cities and to 60+ countries, with a 100% safe-arrival record.
The short version
Pet relocation in India has historically been a maze: opaque pricing, subcontracted handling, forms nobody explains, and a phone number that stops answering the moment your money clears. Meanwhile the person on the other end is not a logistics customer. They are someone who is about to hand over a family member to a stranger and then not hear anything for eight hours.
We spent seven years doing this the slow way, one move at a time, learning which airline actually accepts a Boxer in April, which train has a working dog box, which AQCS file gets rejected and why. Four thousand pets later, none lost, injured or misrouted.
Aigan is that experience, given a name. The promise underneath it hasn't changed: every pet, home safe.
Why this reads warm, not corporate
Pet relocation is frightening, and a brand that takes itself too seriously makes it worse. So the language on this site stays plain and the tone stays human, on purpose. Warmth is not the opposite of competence. For us, it's the point of it.

Where our numbers come from
Four figures appear on almost every page of this site. An unsourced number repeated a thousand times is how trust gets lost, so here is the basis for each one and the date it was last counted.
| The claim | What it counts | How we know | Last counted |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4,000+ pets relocated | Completed moves, one count per animal, since operations began in 2018 | Booking records. A household of three pets counts as three | July 2026 |
| 7+ years on the road | Continuous operation since 2018, several of those years before the Aigan name existed | The first booking record predates the brand | July 2026 |
| 120+ cities covered | Cities we have actually collected from or delivered to, not cities we would accept a booking for | Pickup and delivery addresses on completed moves | July 2026 |
| 100% safe-arrival record | No pet lost, injured in our care, or delivered to the wrong place | It is also a record of the bookings we declined. See the values below | July 2026 |
What these figures are not: a delivery-time average, a satisfaction score, or a five-star rating. We do not publish a rating we cannot show you the reviews behind, and we would rather carry four numbers we can defend than a wall of ones we cannot.
Three things that decide every call we make
We say no more often than we'd like to
A Bulldog in a cargo hold in May is a risk we won't take, whatever it's worth. Our safe-arrival record is the direct result of the bookings we turned down.
The animal decides the route, not the margin
If a road van is kinder than a flight, we recommend the road van. Even though the flight pays us more. That's not generosity, it's the whole business model.
Silence is the enemy
The worst part of pet travel isn't the journey. It's the hours of not knowing. So we over-communicate, deliberately, on purpose, every time.
The people behind every move
Most relocation companies subcontract the part that matters most and can't tell you who held the leash. We can.
Relocation coordinators
One named person owns your move from the first call to the settling-in follow-up. They know your pet's name, your dates and your worries, and you have their number.
Trained pet handlers
In-house, not subcontracted. Trained on leash safety, crate loading, hydration and reading stress signals. The person who collects your pet is the person who hands them over.
Veterinary network
Registered vets across India who understand travel-fitness certification, validity windows and what a destination country will and won't accept.
Documentation desk
The unglamorous team that reads microchip numbers character by character and catches the date that would have cost you a flight.
For launch: replace this section with real team photos, names and a line about each person's own pets. Faces convert, especially in a category built entirely on trust.
Six promises we'd be embarrassed to break
One human, start to finish
A named coordinator whose number you have. Not a ticket, not a rotating queue, not 'someone will get back to you'.
We'll talk you out of the wrong option
If a road van is kinder than a flight for your dog, we'll say so. Even when the flight pays us more.
Itemised or it doesn't exist
Every line of your quote is named and priced. If it isn't on the sheet, it never lands on your invoice.
Photos, not promises
Updates at pickup, crate-in, departure, landing and delivery. You will know more than you expect to.
Never sedated
Sedation impairs breathing at altitude. We manage anxiety with preparation, sizing and calm handling instead.
A plan B already written
Fog, embargo, cancellation, delay. Before your pet moves, the fallback is already on paper.
See them in practice on the how it works page.
We'd rather earn this than sell it.
